NPORS - Tipping Bodies
Course Aims
​The NPORS Tipping Bodies course aims to provide the candidate with a thorough practical and theory training in operating a tipping body in order to enable the candidate to pass the NPORS Theory and Practical Tests.
Course Content

The legal requirements – company procedures, operator responsibilities, hazards, risks and precautions relating to the safe use of hydraulic demountable body equipment

Basic construction – main components, uses, limitations and principles of operation

All controls and safety devices

Features affecting the stability and capability of the vehicle

Weight assessment and load security

Correct use of load restraining systems

Pre-use checks

Comply with safety and legal requirements, with an emphasis on safe practices when operating

Demonstrate setting up, loading, off-loading, un-laden and laden bodies and / or containers/ or tipping
Duration of Training
Depending on experience.
Novice training 2-3 days.
Test
To achieve the NPORS Operators Card candidates must pass both the NPORS Theory Test and the Practical Test.
