NPORS - Skip Loader
Course Aims
​The NPORS Skip Loader course aims to provide the candidate with a thorough practical and theory training in operating a skip loader in order to enable the candidate to pass the NPORS Theory and Practical Tests.

Loading/off-loading techniques for empty/loaded skips

Lifting techniques for a loaded skip

Trimming and securing loads

Methods and procedures for tipping loaded skips

Operators’ responsibilities for preparing and using the skip handler for road travel

Spatial Awareness
Duration of Training
Depending on experience.
Novice training 2-3 days.
Test
To achieve the NPORS Operators Card candidates must pass both the NPORS Theory Test and the Practical Test.
