NPORS - Quick Hitch Excavator

Course Aims

​The NPORS Quick Hitch Excavator course aims to provide the candidate with a thorough practical and theory training in operating quick hitch excavator devices in order to enable the candidate to pass the NPORS Theory and Practical Tests.

 

Course Content

• Health & Safety Legislation (LOLER/PUWER & CDM)

• Identify the risks associated with quick hitch devices

• Describe the operators legal duties with respect to the use of quick hitches

• Describe and apply safe working practices for the use of quick hitches

• Know when and how to conduct visual inspections of the quick hitch equipment

• Maintenance of quick hitch equipment

• Realize the importance of following the manufacturers specification for use

 

Duration of Training

Training 1 day.

 

Test

To achieve the NPORS Operators Card candidates must pass both the NPORS Theory Test and the Practical Test.
