CPCS - Forward Tipping Dumper - Tracked

Course Aims

To provide thorough practical and theory Forward Tipping Dumper Tracked training, to enable the candidate to competently and safely carry out the role and pass the CPCS Theory and Practical Tests. Forward tipping dumper training is required to be able to use this machinery efficiently.

 

Course Content

  • Carrying out pre-start and running checks.

  • Set the dumper for site and road travel.

  • Travel over differing types of terrain, including rough undulating ground both loaded and unloaded.

  • Travel up and down substantial inclines loaded and unloaded.

  • Position dumper to receive loads.

  • Comply with loading procedures.

  • Discharge loads into trenches and over edges.

  • Place machine in and out of service condition

  • Explain loading and unloading procedures on and off of transporter

 

Duration of Training

Depending on experience.

Novice training 3-5 days.

Test 

To obtain the Red CPCS Trained Operator Card all candidates must pass the Health, Safety and Environment Touch Screen Test (within the last 2 years) and the CPCS Technical Theory Test and Technical Practical Test.
